Acme Studio Collection
Acme Studio has a beautifully long history of designs and collectible items. The company began its rich history in 1985 when Adrian Olabuenaga and Lesley Bailey proudly debuted their first collection of jewelry that was designed by Peter Shire from the Memphis Group. Other than Memphis Milano, Acme Studio was the first company to collaborate with all 14 of the Memphis designers, which include the renowned Aldo Cibic and Ettore Sottsass. Acme Studio's first jewelry series is housed in its entirety in the permanent collection of the Groninger Museum in Holland.
In 1997, Acme Studio went on to create its premier collection of fine writing tools. Using the lessons learned when devising the jewelry pieces of earlier projects, Acme Studio dedicated itself to design pens that were new and so state of the art that they would appeal to writers and collectors alike. Acme prides itself on applying unique illustrations to its writing implements, created by such artistic greats as Frank Lloyd Wright, Michael Graves, and Verner Panton. Several example of pens by Acme Studio include Acme Studio Rollerball Pens and the Acme Studio Collezione Materiali models.
