Lamy Pens Collection

Lamy was started in Germany, in 1930, by C. Josef Lamy. The company was able to prosper through a difficult interwar economic period to become one of the most reputable manufacturers of fine writing implements. Lamy went through a number of trials during its development, including taking on arms productions as World War II intensified. As time moved on, Lamy was able to overcome many challenges by making itself known as a producer of superior ballpoint pens. It's this dedication to excellence in the face of adversity that has propelled Lamy to one of the top pen companies in the world.

There have been many different models of Lamy pens over the years. Some older styles such as the “Tinktomatik” and the “Lamy cp1” became renown for their distinct Lamy design and smooth ink flow. Lamy has continued its tradition of high-quality writing tools with the Lamy Safari fountain pen, which was originally designed by Wolfgang Fabian. With a chrome clip, steel nib, and sturdy ABS plastic body, the Safari line writing instruments are as durable as the Lamy company itself.
