The innovative technology of the Heritage Word Gauge™ is as useful today as it was when first developed in the 1930’s. This modern-day version of the Word Gauge™ allows you to view your ink level through a transparent window in the barrel of each pen. The different gauge marks along the window indicates the estimated number of words that the remaining ink will write before you need to fill your pen again, a truly unique and fun feature exclusively available with this collection. Each pen comes with a built-in piston-filling system for “straight out of the bottle ink filling”, to use simply dip your nib into the ink bottle and twist the piston located at the back end of the pen body. The Heritage Word Gauge™ is made from a strong, unique resin and available in three glorious colors, Black with sleek gunmetal accents, or Blue, and Turquoise, both paired with stunning chrome accents to match. Along the front of each barrel is the name of the collection, tastefully engraved. Available in a choice of six nib grades, choose between Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub, or Omniflex.
We have a hassle-free return policy at Pen Place which allows you to return any non-personalized item, for any reason, within fourteen (14) days of the date of receipt. The delivery date will be determined by your UPS or USPS tracking number. If you wish to return an item within the fourteen (14) days allowed, please ensure the item is in new condition and has all original packaging that were shipped with your order.
If you would like to return an item, please email us at shop@penplace.com or call us at 816-474-7500 and state why you would like to return the item. Pen Place will return your communication to approve or disapprove return of the item. If the return is due to the wrong product or damaged product being shipped, Pen Place will send and pay for a return label. Otherwise, the customer will pay for and supply the return label. Refunds will be processed when the item is received at Pen Place. The customer will be refunded to the credit card or PayPal account they paid with and will be the next day after the item is received by Pen Place. Returns will be shipped back to:

Exceptions to the Return Policy
Shipping charges will not be refunded unless we made an error in the order or the item was damaged. Items that have been engraved cannot be returned unless their was a misspelling of the name. If an item is returned, but is not in new condition, the item will be returned to you and you will not receive a refund. There is a 10% restocking fee for all returns. Items marked Special Order will be charged a restocking fee of 30% of the MSRP.
